Jin-Du Restaurant was established by a couple named WANG WEN-CHENG (husband) and LIN, SU-CHEN (wife) in 1994. The restaurant is a
land-mark in central Taiwan, with cuisines for national banquets. Cai Lan, who was “cook god” of Hong Kong, had visited the restaurant many times with other honorable guests. He had recommended its Taiwanese cuisines for national banquets as well as Taiwan’s dining culture. The restaurant has served national banquets many times and won a good reputation among gourmets and the media. Delicious dishes of the said
restaurant have enriched domestic culture with the use of local food materials. The dish “Mold Pork with Sugar Cane Flavor Wrapped in Handmade Paper” was once praised by famous science fiction writer Ni Guang as “the most unique mold pork seen in the past 70 years.”
金都レストランは王文正、林素貞夫妻により1994 年にオープンしました。中部台湾において国賓級の食事が味わえるレストランとして名を馳せています。香港の料理の達人蔡瀾便氏はたびたび香港の著名人を連れて訪れ、台湾の飲食文化あふれる台湾国賓料理を勧めました。実際に幾度も国賓級の宴会が催され、舌の肥えたグルメ達やメディアから高い評価を得ています。ここに来れば地の食材を使った特色あふれる地方料理が堪能できます。地場産業の手漉き紙を使用した豚の角煮は「70 年来滅多に出会うことのできない味だ」とSF 小説の大家倪匡氏も絶賛しています。
