This restaurant was established in 1949. It started with a stall on the street and expanded to a restaurant, with owners spanning three
generations. Stressing a presentation of a Chinese cuisine spirit with human warmth, it chooses not to open chain-stores or duplicates its operation. For the past more than 60 years, iron panfried bun stuffed with
pork (Shanghai cuisine) has become a famous dish ordered by almost all diners. Other famous dishes include baked scallion-stuffed sesame biscuits,
Xialongbao, original chicken soup, and dongpo’s pork.
1949 年、路上の屋台から始まった高記。今ではいくつもの店舗を展開するまでに成長しました。人情のこもった中華料理の精神を三代に渡り伝承、チェーン展開やフランチャイズ経営は一切行なっていません。60 年以上も前からある上海鉄鍋生煎包は、すでに高記の名物料理。他にも点心の蟹殼黄、小籠湯包、地鶏のスープ、トンローポーなどもおすすめです。
